Remains of the Altkirch

On site, visitors discover the remains of the choir tower, built between the 13th and 14th centuries.

This lower level, the only surviving part of the building, bears witness to the original architecture.

It was illuminated by a central Gothic window flanked by two side windows, while its opening to the now-lost nave once allowed visual and spatial connection with the church's central space.
