Restaurant Amsel

Nestled in the heart of the vineyards of Ammerschwihr, Restaurant Amsel embodies the authenticity and terroir of Alsace. It highlights seasonal cuisine made from local products sourced from the valley. On weekdays, a single menu is offered for lunch, while evenings and weekends feature a more varied menu, allowing guests to discover regional and creative flavors. An elegant glass-enclosed wine cellar, freely accessible, occupies a central place in the dining room: it houses a selection of wines from Alsace and beyond, available to enjoy on-site or to take away, as the restaurant also functions as a wine shop. To extend the day or start the evening, after-work events are held every Thursday and Friday from 6 pm to 8 pm, while Fridays are marked by tarte flambée evenings. A large shaded terrace and private parking complete the facilities, offering comfort and conviviality to guests. Closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sunday evenings, the restaurant livens up in December with winemakers present on the terrace for wine tastings: Saturdays from 11 am to 1 pm and 5 pm to 7 pm, and Sundays from 11 am to 1 pm. After these moments of exchange, it is possible to continue the experience with lunch or dinner on-site, without prior reservation.
