Restaurant Julien Binz
Located in the heart of the city of the three blackbirds, an emblematic village of the Alsace vineyard and birthplace of the Grand Cru Kaefferkopf, this establishment combines charm and gastronomic excellence. Julien Binz, a Michelin-starred chef distinguished by several labels including Chefs d'Alsace, creates inventive and flavorful cuisine that highlights seasonal local products with a contemporary touch.
The Fragonard menu, named in honor of the painter whose fresco adorns the dining room, delights with its generous and balanced composition: sautéed porcini mushrooms, stuffed sole fillet, lobster medallions, rack of lamb, all accompanied by elderflower mousse and strawberry sorbet. Each dish is enhanced by a wine selection carefully chosen by François Lhermitte, maître d'hôtel-sommelier and a young talent awarded by Gault & Millau.
In summer, the terrace, set around an imposing fountain, invites romantic or convivial evenings. The Binz’tronome menu, featuring the chef's surprise, promises a memorable culinary experience. For more intimate moments, the Empire lounge, elegantly decorated by local artisans, hosts private meals for 1 to 3 tables by reservation.
