Resting Bench Known as the Empress

This Napoleonic resting bench, made of pink sandstone, was commissioned in 1865 by the Prefect of Bas-Rhin.

It is named 'Empress' in reference to the imperial era.

Since October 20, 1982, this monument has been listed as a historic monument, recognizing its heritage value and historical significance.
