Ringendorf

Ringendorf is a charming Alsatian village with 447 inhabitants, situated about 30 km northeast of Strasbourg, as well as Saverne and Haguenau.

It stands out for its many carefully restored half-timbered houses, reflecting its rich architectural heritage.

At the foothills of the Northern Vosges, Ringendorf marks the entrance to the Hanau-La Petite Pierre region.

Although its landscape remains dominated by agriculture, typical of the plains communes, one can already sense the beginnings of more pronounced relief, with wooded areas and steep lanes heralding the approach of the Vosges massif and the Northern Vosges Nature Park. Visitors can also enjoy the proximity of remarkable sites such as the Cabaret Royal Palace, the medieval village of La Petite Pierre, the Lalique Museum, and the Lichtenberg Castle, offering a wide range of visits and walks. The municipal area covers 366 hectares, with an average altitude of 220 meters.
