Rittersberg Massif

This massif, where the medieval castles of Ramstein, built in 1293, and Ortenbourg, constructed between 1262 and 1265, stand, has been under environmental protection since 1990.

A biotope decree was established to preserve the exceptional richness of its fauna and flora.
