Rocher du Corbeau Natural Climbing Site
This climbing site is located in a granite massif of the Vosges at an altitude of 1020 meters.
Facing due south, it offers routes ranging from 10 to 60 meters in height, with technical levels from 4a to 6c. The local granite, characterized by large feldspar phenocrysts, has a fairly rough surface ideal for sport climbing.
Access is from Rimbach, following the direction of the Riesenwald farm, then taking a steep main path leading to Lac des Perches, marked by a blue triangle. However, climbing is prohibited from January 1 to July 1 due to a municipal decree. The site is equipped, but no formal agreement has been established. It is recommended to bring a helmet, slings, a long rope (possibly a rappel system), and about ten quickdraws. For exploring other options, additional slings and some nuts can be useful.
