Roedelen Refuge - Ski Club Guebwiller

This chalet-refuge, open every other weekend in winter (by reservation only) and every weekend in summer, is ideally located near the GR 532 trail and the ridge road. In summer, it is accessible on foot or by bike from Guebwiller via several possible routes. In winter, it is about 6 km from the Markstein resort, using a groomed trail suitable for classic cross-country skiing, skating, or snowshoeing.

This refuge is a perfect starting point for a three-day tour of the Guebwiller valley, passing by Petit-Ballon and then Grand-Ballon. Inside, it features a lounge and a dormitory with 30 beds, as well as a self-service kitchen and full sanitary facilities (toilets, showers, etc.).
