Rose Garden

Designed between 1926 and 1929 by a group of railway workers passionate about roses, the Roseraie was laid out by the head gardener of the Orangerie. This peaceful haven covers 30 ares and hosts over 4,000 rose bushes across 390 different varieties. The shapes vary: bushes, shrubs, climbers, ramblers, and miniatures, offering a diverse and captivating floral display.

Protected by the Association of Friends of Roses, the rose garden is carefully maintained by dedicated volunteers. They ensure the beauty of the site is preserved while being available to chat with visitors along the paths. The garden also features fountains and ponds where aquatic plants and fish thrive, adding a soothing touch to the whole.

For a well-deserved break, benches and shaded arbors covered by roses invite relaxation. The romantic and idyllic atmosphere here makes it an ideal place for a family stroll. Nearby, a playground allows the youngest to play safely.
