Rothenbach Farm

For four generations, this family farm has raised Vosges cows and preserved artisanal cheese-making skills.

You can discover behind-the-scenes cheese production and taste local products: farm cheeses, homemade charcuterie, and other local specialties, all available in the on-site shop.

Self-guided visits of the barns are possible daily during store hours. For a fuller experience, guided tours are organized, taking you from the barns to the aging cellar via the cheese dairy. These tours cover all production stages and end with a tasting of the products.

Guided tours are reserved for groups of at least 10 people and require booking at least one week in advance. The price is €7.50 per adult, tasting included, and free for children. From May 10 to September 19, 2026, when the herd is on summer pasture, guided tours take place at the Schmargult Farm, located on the Route des Crêtes.
