Royal Church of Saint-Louis
As early as 1699, a modest wooden building served as a place of worship for the inhabitants.
In 1732, architect François Chevalier designed the plans for a new church, which was completed in 1736 in a classical style.
Consecrated in 1777 under the name of Saint-Louis, it became a symbol of the town.
Damaged by Allied bombings in 1945, it was completely rebuilt identically and reopened for worship in 1975, thus continuing its historical role.
