Rue des Tanneurs

Rue des Tanneurs is one of the oldest streets in the city, its name paying tribute to the tanners who worked there by the Stadtbächlein stream. From the second half of the 18th century, some buildings already housed printed fabric manufacturers. The Klein-Albert Furniture store building, constructed in 1924, reflects this commercial evolution. Today, this street retains a historic and picturesque character while establishing itself as a lively shopping street featuring antique shops, art galleries, and restaurants.
