Saint Anne Church

Turckheim has a religious history marked by the presence of a Christian sanctuary as early as the year 898. In the 12th century, a Romanesque building succeeded it, of which only the bell tower remains today. The current church, in a neoclassical style, was built between 1834 and 1839. Damaged by a fire on July 6, 1978, it was restored to regain its original splendor. In July and August, a reception desk is staffed by the Tourism Ministry animation team from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., subject to volunteer availability.
