Saint Anthony Church
The Maisonsgoutte chapel underwent a major transformation in 1737 with its enlargement and renovation.
A century later, in 1830, population growth made the building too small, reigniting debates about further expansion or reconstruction.
The church's deteriorated condition then required repairs between 1867 and 1896.
The decision to demolish the old chapel was finally made in spring 1912, and work began shortly after. On July 7, 1912, the first stone of the new church was laid.
It was consecrated on October 12, 1913. Like its predecessor, this new building is dedicated to Saint Anthony the Hermit, whose feast is celebrated on January 17.
