Saint Anthony of Padua Church

The Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Oberbruck was founded on May 27, 1806, dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua, the patron saint of the commune and Rimbach.

It stands on the site of a former chapel, likely built by miners.

The first bell, blessed in 1812, already references this patronage.

Between 1840 and 1850, an organ was installed, adding a musical dimension to this place of worship.

From 1964 to 1965, the church was modernized following the directives of the Second Vatican Council.

The most recent restoration, supported by the Heritage Foundation, took place in 2004.
