Saint-Arbogast Church
Saint-Arbogast Church has undergone several reconstructions over the centuries: in 1338, 1483, and then between 1785 and 1789. Destroyed during the bombings of World War II, it was rebuilt between 1965 and 1968 according to the plans of architects Bertrand Monnet and Fernand Gury. The new building was consecrated in 1970. The sandstone columns from the old church were reused to erect the Herrlisheim war memorial. Today, Saint-Arbogast Church is recognized as 20th Century Heritage.
