Saint Christopher Church
Triembach-au-Val, long dependent on Villé, saw the construction of its first chapel in the 16th century, dedicated to Saint Christopher. A keystone dated 1619, decorated with a branch of foliage, a stylized wave, and a Greek cross, likely comes from this building, which was rebuilt or enlarged before the start of the Thirty Years' War. The current church, built in 1777, replaces this old chapel. Triembach only became a parish in 1803. The church, still dedicated to Saint Christopher, is placed under the protection of this saint, patron of travelers and protector against sudden death.
