Saint Dié Chapel

The Saint Dié Chapel was built around 1850 to replace an old chapel in ruins, located 600 meters further south.

According to local tradition, Saint Déodat, also known as Saint Dié, stopped at this original chapel during his journey through the valley. He is said to have crossed it on a donkey while traveling from the Ebersmunster convent to the Saint Dié abbey.
