Saint-Étienne Church
Nestled in the heart of Cernay, the Saint-Étienne Church is a building rich in history, classified as a historic monument since 2002.
Its exact origin remains shrouded in mystery, but it has endured through the centuries, bearing witness to its local significance.
It has been restored several times, notably in 1565 and then between 1924 and 1925, following the devastation of the First World War. Inside, visitors can discover remarkable features: an imposing five-meter-high Christ on the cross, frescoes by René Kuder, and several tombstones that add to the solemnity of the place.
