Saint-François-Xavier Park

This park, once owned by a family of horticulturist nurserymen at the end of the 19th century, is located near Petite Venise. It houses a collection of remarkable trees, such as a weeping beech, a bald cypress, and a giant sequoia. From 1921 to 1995, it was occupied by the Jesuit congregation, which established a spiritual retirement home in the Saint-François-Xavier house. Today, the site is open to the public. Visitors can discover a "wild" vegetation that provides welcome shade. Secluded from nearby streets, this park is an ideal place to rest or take a walk. Parents can find calm here, while children enjoy the playground designed for them.
