Saint John the Baptist Church
The history of this church dates back to 1227, the year of its first written mention.
In 1543, the Reformation was introduced here by the lords of Fleckenstein.
A century later, in 1607, the nave was completely rebuilt, as evidenced by the inscription visible on the side door.
In 1696, the simultaneum was established, allowing multiple denominations to share the place of worship.
Finally, a tower-porch was added in 1841, marking a new stage in the architectural evolution of the building.
