Saint Laurent and Sixtus Church

Dating back to 1352, the medieval choir of this church bears witness to a rich historical past. In the 19th century, the building was expanded twice, in 1840 and 1861, to accommodate a growing community. The Gothic choir, notable for its 15th-century stalls, comes from the former Ehl convent, offering a valuable example of the religious art of the time. Unfortunately, the church's bell tower, a symbol of the building, was destroyed in January 1945 during World War II bombings. It has since been restored to reclaim its place in the local landscape.
