Saint-Laurent Church

The church of Dieffenbach-au-Val is probably the most remarkable in the Villé valley.

Part of this monument is listed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historical Monuments.

Although its current form mainly dates from 1875, traces of its past remain.

At the base of the tower-choir, two rows of stones appear to be remnants of the old Saint-Laurent chapel, built in 1369.

Under the nave roof, signs of timber frame connections to the tower reveal the different phases of transformation the church has undergone over the centuries.
