Saint Martin Cemetery Chapel

The chapel, located in the heart of the Ensisheim cemetery founded in the 16th century, is distinguished by its rectangular plan and single nave. Twelve rectangular windows pierce its walls, while a projecting section topped with a cross, protected by a grille, marks its main entrance. An opening on the side facade allows access to the interior of the building. Topped with an open bell tower, the chapel has a distinctive silhouette. Destroyed during the 1945 bombings, it was rebuilt in 1957. The site, including the chapel and cemetery, is accessible from Rue des Vergers, where parking is available, as well as from Faubourg Saint-Martin.
