Saint Martin Church

Built between 1001 and 1014, this church stands out as the first in Kochersberg to feature a fortified tower. The cornerstones, arrow slits, and cannon port remain visible, bearing witness to its defensive past.

The bell tower rests on the foundations of an ancient Roman temple, a historical relic integrated into the building.

The nave underwent two major expansions: first in 1715, then in 1821, when it was extended by 21 feet. The entrance, adorned with sculptures and bas-reliefs, also dates from this period, adding an artistic touch to the whole.
