Saint Martin Temple
The Lutheran community, whose services were initially held in a private home, built a temple on what is now Rue du Saule.
Inaugurated in 1904, this eclectic-style building combines simplicity with refined ornamentation.
Its entrance hall is preceded by a triangular porch topped with a bulb-shaped roof, adorned with cherub sculptures.
The central nave, spacious and bright, opens onto a bell tower crowned with a bulbous roof.
A notable feature of this temple is the corner niche of the tower, which houses a statue of Luther—a rarity for this type of building.
At the rear, a presbytery in the same architectural style completes the ensemble, creating a coherent and harmonious whole.
