Saint Matthias Church

This church perfectly exemplifies the characteristic architecture of the Second Empire. It features a nave composed of six bays, extended by a polygonal choir. Inside, a 14th-century Gothic baptistery made of sandstone draws particular attention. This historical relic was restored in 1989. The polygonal basin, decorated with interlaced diamond patterns, had suffered severe damage and was therefore faithfully reconstructed to preserve its authenticity and original charm.
