Saint Morand Chapel

Built in 1930, this chapel is dedicated to Saint Morand, patron of the parish and winemakers. It was constructed on a plateau where many French and German soldiers died during the First World War. Located near the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago), it is also known as the "chapel of the Loh," a term likely derived from the German *Die Lohe*, meaning "the flame" or "the fire." This nickname reflects its geographical position, as it faces east, where the sun rises.

Today, the chapel has been fully renovated and blends harmoniously into the local landscape. It has become a landmark for village residents as well as for walkers exploring the surrounding vineyard area.
