Saint Morand Church
In the 12th century, Steinbach had a modest Romanesque church dedicated to Saint Matthias. In 1873, a new church, this time in neo-Romanesque style, was built in honor of Saint Morand. However, this building did not survive the fierce battles of the First World War and was completely destroyed. In 1926, a third church, in neo-Gothic style, was constructed on the foundations of the previous one, providing Steinbach with a place of worship still visible today.
