Saint-Thomas Protestant Church

Saint-Thomas Church, an iconic example of Alsatian Gothic art, is dedicated to Protestant worship. Its choir houses the mausoleum of Marshal de Saxe, a major work of 18th-century Baroque funerary art, richly decorated. Guided tours in French or German can be arranged by prior appointment by calling 03 88 32 14 46. Sunday services are held on Sunday mornings, reserved for religious celebrations. Access is available for people with reduced mobility upon prior request. Additionally, the church participates in the "Open Churches Path" project, supported by the Temple Neuf, Saint-Pierre-le-Jeune, and Saint-Thomas parishes within the Strasbourg-Centre Protestant Communion. This initiative aims to welcome the public while developing activities to encourage visits and discovery of the sites. More information is available at www.chemin-strasbourg.info.
