Saint Ulrich Church

A few kilometers from Wissembourg, the Saint Ulrich Church in Altenstadt is a remarkable example of Romanesque architecture.

It also marks the northern starting point of the Alsace Romanesque Route, a cultural itinerary highlighting religious buildings from this period.

The nave, built in the 11th century, is the oldest part of the structure and thus bears witness to the rich heritage of this Alsace region.
