Saint Wendelin Chapel

The current chapel, built in the likeness of the original 15th-century chapel but on a smaller scale, was destroyed during the First World War and immediately rebuilt afterwards. This sanctuary has been a recognized pilgrimage site for centuries. Blessed in 1687 by the Bishop of Basel, it received the relics of Saint Theodore in 1772, brought from Rome by a hermit attached to it. Among the preserved historical elements, a Baroque cross dating from 1783 survived both world wars without damage.

Today, Sunday masses are still held there during the summer season.
