Saint Wendelin Chapel of the Gœftberg

Built in 1772 as a sign of gratitude for protecting the village from the plague, the Saint Wendelin Chapel is a place rich in history and spirituality.

Every year on Whit Monday, a pilgrimage ceremony takes place here, attracting worshippers and visitors.

From the summit of the Gœftberg, you can enjoy a panoramic view: the imposing 130-meter-high radio and television transmitter antenna of Nordheim stands on the nearby Stephansberg hill.

In June, the surrounding meadows are adorned with many wild orchids, adding a touch of natural beauty to this peaceful setting.
