Sakya Tsechen Ling Tibetan Buddhist Temple

Kuttolsheim is home to the Tibetan Buddhist temple Sakya Tsechen Ling, an inter-regional center dedicated to meetings of members and supporters.

Inaugurated in 1978, this spiritual place was visited twice by the Dalai Lama, the spiritual and temporal leader of Tibetan Buddhism, in 1982 and 1987.

The temple is not open to the public for free visits: it can only be visited during specific events, retreats, or conferences held throughout the year.
