Saverne Rose Garden

Perched at the foot of the Saverne Pass, this iconic garden covers 1.5 hectares and houses an exceptional collection of 5,000 rose bushes across 800 different varieties.

Founded in 1898 by the Alsatian and Lorraine Society of Friends of the Roses of Saverne, this rose garden is the second oldest in France. Its prestige has earned the city of Saverne the nickname "City of Roses." Every year in June, the Rose Festival brings together enthusiasts to celebrate this spectacular bloom.
