Scherwiller Media Library

The intercommunal media library of Sélestat offers a wide range of cultural and documentary resources, available in printed form (books, magazines, newspapers, sheet music), audio (CDs, audiobooks), video (DVDs), or digital (online platforms such as Bibliovox, 1D Touch, or the Philharmonie de Paris, as well as e-readers). It supports users in their information searches, whether through its online catalog or personalized assistance, and also offers introductions to Internet use.

Document lending, including books, magazines, language learning materials, CDs, sheet music, DVDs, and e-readers, is one of its key services. Additionally, the media library regularly organizes cultural events to showcase its collections: lectures, exhibitions, school visits, or storytelling sessions.

Its goal is to ensure equitable access to all media, especially new communication and information tools, notably through a public digital space.
