Schiessrothried Refuge Vosges Trotters Colmar

Perched by a lake, this refuge nestled in the heart of the Honneck massif offers hikers a welcome stop. It has 40 beds spread across three dormitories (9, 15, and 16 beds) and a dining room that can accommodate up to 40 people.

A fully equipped kitchen is available, but no meals are served on site. Access is only on foot from the Sillacker parking lot, located 2 km away, after passing Braunkopf. The journey takes about 45 minutes from Gaschney.

The refuge is open continuously in July and August, and by reservation on weekends. In winter, it only hosts groups and is accessible only by snowshoes. A caretaker is always present, and booking is strongly recommended to confirm the site's opening. Pets are not allowed. Prices are 15 euros per person from age 10 and 6 euros for children under 10.
