Schnepfenried Ski Resort

Perched between 1028 and 1254 meters altitude, the Schnepfenried ski area offers a range of winter activities suitable for the whole family. Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowpark, boarder-cross, and even dog sled rides take place in a preserved setting. Seven lifts serve sixteen alpine ski slopes, including one lit for night skiing sessions, turning the resort into a true "starry slope." Skiers of all levels find optimal conditions to enjoy their passion. Additionally, seven kilometers of cross-country trails, groomed daily alternately on meadows or in the forest, reveal exceptional views of the High Vosges and sometimes even the Alps. This Nordic domain, the largest and most varied in the Vosges, captivates with its diversity and breathtaking landscapes. For equipment rental, two shops are available directly at the resort: Locaschnepf and Zinglé, located near the restaurant Le Panoramic, as well as La Godille in Munster. Beginners can safely learn thanks to the French Ski School. To access the area, allow about 25 minutes from Munster, where several parking lots are arranged at the foot of the slopes. An exclusive new feature awaits visitors: the Schnepf night sessions offer a magical hour of sliding every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Reservation is mandatory to enjoy a sledding session with Schnepf sleds, whose ascent is via a conveyor belt, allowing effortless descents. A fun and friendly experience to share with family or friends, in a warm atmosphere in the heart of the Vosges mountains.
