Schuster Ceramics
Schuster Ceramics specializes in creating animals and decorative subjects in faience. Their expertise is based on the slip casting technique, also known as barbotine.
Each piece undergoes two successive firings: the first at 1,000°C, then a second at 1,060°C, ensuring a durable and high-quality finish.
The workshop was founded in 1994 by Dominique Schuster, who had previously gained experience in three different potteries since 1971. Today, the workshop's creations are regularly exhibited every Saturday at the Strasbourg market, Place Kléber. To avoid unnecessary trips, it is recommended to contact the workshop by phone before visiting.
