Schweighouse - Thann

Schweighouse-Thann is a peaceful lowland village with 720 inhabitants, located at the eastern end of the Thann-Cernay Community of Communes.

This charming rural and forested town was once home to prominent noble families such as the Hack and the Waldner de Freundstein, who owned castles here.

Today, it captivates visitors with its preserved landscapes, crossed by the Doller River, where nature and outdoor activities blend. Notable features include a protected natural area, a fitness trail, a discovery path, a pond, and beautiful orchards that add to its authentic charm.
