Secondary Entrance of the Former SACM Factory

In 1870, SACM succeeded the André Koechlin and Co. factory, founded in 1826. At its peak, the company employed up to 5,000 workers in 1952. The former private SACM bridge, which provided access to the factory and served the wood depot located on rue de Galfingue, was demolished in 2010.
