Seigneurial Mill
The mill of the Barons of Andlau, also known as the seigneurial or banal mill, embodies the central economic activity of the town for centuries. Before its renovation in 1752, an older building already occupied this site, with its existence documented since the late 14th century. This mill played a key role in local life until its activity ceased around 1920, well before the rise of the textile industry in the 19th century.
