Sermensheim Chapel
Sermensheim was a former village located in the Alsace plain, between Réguisheim and Munchhouse.
According to sources, its inhabitants were struck by the Black Death in 1304 or, more likely, around 1348.
After its disappearance, the territory of Sermensheim was incorporated into that of Réguisheim.
To honor the memory of this place, a commemorative chapel was built there in 1871.
In 2004, during the creation of a roundabout at the intersection of departmental roads D2 and D47, the chapel was moved to preserve this historical testimony.
