Ski and Canoe Club Chalet

This chalet located in the Vosges, near Colmar and at the exit of the Munster valley, stands at 1100 meters altitude on the Schnepfenried. It offers 10 dormitories divided into several types of rooms: one single room, three twin rooms each with a bunk bed, two rooms with two single beds, three quadruple rooms each with two bunk beds, and one five-bed room composed of two bunk beds and one single bed.

The beds have covered mattresses, but it is necessary to bring sheets (fitted sheet), bedding or sleeping bag, as well as pillows.

An independent house complements the accommodation with a well-equipped kitchen, including a large refrigerator, six gas burners, and an electric oven. Kitchen towels and dishware must be brought by occupants, as well as food and drinks, since there are no shops nearby. The closest stores are in Munster (Lidl and SuperU) or in Metzeral (bakery), while butter and cheese are available at the Deybach Farm Inn.

The chalet also offers a large lounge, a relaxation area in the attic, central heating, separate sanitary facilities for each gender with hot and cold water, a drying room, and an antechamber with a ski storage room. Before departure, users must carefully clean the refuge to ensure a clean space for the next occupants.
