Solbach

Perched in a valley parallel to that of the Schirgoutte, Solbach is part of the Ban-de-la-Roche. According to local legend, the village was completely destroyed during the Thirty Years' War. The inhabitants, forced to relocate, then rebuilt their homes higher up in the valley, sheltered beneath the slopes of Mount Saint-Jean and La Perheux.

Today, Solbach charms visitors with its peaceful setting and traditional accommodations. The village has many holiday cottages, offering an authentic stay in the heart of the Vosges. Among the places to discover, the Chévrerie du Solbet offers a gourmet and local experience, highlighting regional products.
