"Spitzkoepfe" Natural Climbing Site

This adventure terrain, unequipped and without agreement, is dedicated to experienced climbers.

The rock, a granite with small feldspars and well fractured, is perfect for technical ascents.

The ridge, marked by a few rappel rings, offers an airy climb with a breathtaking view of Lake Fischboedlé.

Access is from Metzeral: parking is available at the Chalets de la Wormsa, then follow the trail passing by Lake Fischboedlé before reaching the Schiessrothried area, for about a one-hour walk.

This site requires great caution: it is strictly reserved for seasoned climbers and demands a thorough check of weather conditions before any attempt.
