Square de la Montagne Verte
Nestled between the old hospital and the covered market, not far from the Tanners' district, the Square de la Montagne Verte occupies a central position in Colmar.
Established in its current form in 1975, this square hosts a beautiful variety of trees, including a remarkable Japanese Sophora planted in 1877.
Its dense foliage provides generous shade, attracting passersby seeking coolness during summer days. Several benches scattered throughout the park and a dedicated playground allow visitors, young and old, to enjoy a moment of relaxation close to the Place de l'Ancienne Douane.
