St John the Baptist Church
This building is the result of an architectural transformation that began in the 18th century. On the site of the original rectangular nave, a large Baroque-style vessel was erected in the first half of the century. Later, in 1892, the choir tower and polygonal apse were replaced by a facade tower and a new polygonal choir, incorporating Neo-Gothic influences.
Inside, the church preserves exceptional liturgical furnishings, classified as Historic Monuments. Notable pieces include a triptych, a Pietà, Baroque altars accompanied by statues, ornate confessionals, and a Baroque organ signed by Martin Bergäntzel.
