Statue of Saint John of Nepomuk

Originally, this statue of Saint John of Nepomuk, revered as the patron saint of boatmen, bridges, and all those connected to water, stood near the Ill bridge.

In 1918, it was moved to the corner of Oberhergheim Street and Saint John Street, where it remains today.

More than half a century after its relocation, the municipality of Niederhergheim restored it in 2007, restoring its full splendor for future generations.
