Stele in Tribute to the Victims of the Holocaust

Inaugurated in 2009, the commemorative stele in Soultz-les-Bains honors four residents of the town who were deported and murdered at the Auschwitz extermination camp. It bears the names of Mathilde Simon, born Lévy in 1875 and died in 1944, Amélie Gerchowitch, born in 1875 and died in 1943, Joseph Weil, born in 1877 and died in 1944, and Jules Meyer, born in 1882 and murdered in 1942.
